The history of Victorian Bluestone dates back to the 1850’s when these pitchers were first being produced in Melbourne. Originally split by hand to a size of roughly 300x200x150mm...

Victorian bluestone is a basalt or olivine basalt, quarried from the vast basalt layer that covers Victoria from Melbourne in the east, to Portland in the west, and as far north as the Great Dividing Range...

Used for garden edging, walls and paving, bluestone pitchers have been used for hundreds of years and provide a timeless and classic look that’s suitable for any residential...

The look of a fabulous historical bluestone wall without the cost.  In addition to our bluestone pitcher pavers, we also have bluestone natural split face cobbles/cladding.  Great for garden walls, fireplaces or a feature wall for your house.  Just like our pavers our natural split face cobbles/cladding is cut from historic Victorian bluestone recovered from Melbourne's CBD and surrounds.  They are cut with our diamond saw blade to a thickness of 30mm.  Due to the fact that each block was originally created by hand the length of each piece varies from  100-400mm long x 200-250mm wide.
